    gabriel,
looks like we've been out for the same amount of time. I did tear it down, I dont think my gun would fire though, it had so much crap in it from sitting for long. I think I'll go the X valve route, seems to be the easiest route right now and I'll be able to go out sooner.

after looking at it for a while it doesnt look that bad. I was more concerned with all of the old gunk in the cylinder and some rsut from the spring.
I'm going to get a lvl10 and that rebuild kit.

          Thanks for the link

might want to get a spacer kit as well and replace that brass spring in the power tube ... its not necessary but spacer kit is considered an upgrade.

Shouldn't have to replace anything in the powertube if he is going with a level 1o upgrade...

Well, sinse I'm back on a paintball kick. I dove in face first and aquiered a couple more Mags.
                I have a question though.
One of the markers (MiniMag) I got has an Xvalve and the stock valve. I am or plan on using the stock valve in my marker.
Will a Mini Mag complete valve fit in a Classic Mag?

The other is a pistol, very sweet.
                Thanks maglover

I should be getting them shortly. Once I get them I'll post pics.

Yes, The minimag valve and classic valve are interchangeable.

Remember the x-valve is air only, no CO2. If you can get around 900 psi into an x-valve, the reactivity kicks in for additional entertainment.

For your bolt, someone has usually mentioned 'flitz' metal polish by now, but I don't see it. Also, Ed's Red if you're a gun nut or Brasso if you have nothing else (just wash all the brasso off the bolt and oil coat it as soon as possible, ammonia and stainless is no good in the long run). Flitz is easy though.

Gatcha, air for X and CO2 for Mini and Classic.

Can I upgrade my bolt to a LVLX bolt?

                      Another cleaning quesiton.
The spring or coil thingy inside the valve was coated with a lot of gunk. What can I clean that off with and what should I replace the gunk with?

                      Thanks

I found my AutoMag, its been missing for about 16 years(dont ask). I pulled the barrel out and there was a nice amount of rust on the inside.

I need a rebuild kit and maybe some upgrades to get it up to todays specs.
Does AGD make any new versions of the AutoMag?

Are there any web sites that supply parts for them?
What upgrades would be recommended? Internal and external.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help and info.

forget you im asking anyway how did you lose your pb gun?

Like thejayare said, the lvlx comes with the xvalve, but you can put a lvlx on any mag. I was surprised to hear that it works fine on CO2.

It sounds like you are looking at the regulator spring pack. It is all spring/carbon steel, so you can clean it with wd40, light oil, or whatever. Just dry it off and pack it full of a good grease. It doesn't move much and you are just protecting the steel from water since the back of the reg is vented. Since the grease will eventually get down to the piston seals, you need a grease that is compatible with your seals though. Dow 55 or 33 is pretty common.

I was waiting for someone to ask.

Well, technically I didnt lose it. To make a long story short. It was with my possessions in storage in which I did not have access to. My Grandmother helped me get my stuff back, low and behold there was my gun, barrel and tank. Everything else has been disposed of, more barrels, tanks, hoppers, paintball canisters etc,,,,,,,

Now, I'm back in action, well I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

Are the other updated parts also considered an upgrade? I have an old mag like this, the AIR valve, I just took out of "storage" to use this weekend for the first time in around 12 years. I noticed when I was buying some new seals that not only were there spacers now in the power tube but also the on/off top has changed.
