I got all the parts to replace the guts of the valve, what kind of grease should I use for the spring pack & the reg nut?

    Thanks, Gabe

Just use any regular paintball oil, put a few drops in the ASA, and fire away. That will oil everything, and is the method reccomended by AGD.

the grease is mainly for corrosion resistance , white lithium is what i use.

Same here. I forget what the shinny stuff is called, but you could call AGD and ask them.

                spring pack grease . . .

When I googled 'dow33' I got links for lube for Ions.

I'm looking for the grease for the 'spring pack' & the 'reg nut'

in the "exploded view" of the mag valve it says to leave the 'spring pack' intact and lightly greasesd. Also, use a 'high quality' grease on the threads of the reg nut to prevent 'galling'

dow33 looks more like the oil for the asa or reg, I want to know what grease to buy for the spring pack and reg nut

Any grease will work, even petroleum jelly (Vaseline). All the grease does is keep moisture away from the spring pack to prevent rust.

The kit says to lightly grease the spring pack & reg valve nut. What about the threads between the two valve halves?

                    Thanks for looking

You don't need to grease threads in my experience.

Dow 33 is not put in the ASA, rather it is applied on all the o-rings in the bolt kit manually. Just one of the things you have to deal after every day of paintball when using a spool-valve marker. It is a grease.

I'm pretty sure Vaseline would work for the spring, but if I'm not mistaken, it eats o-rings, so not a great thing to have in your valve.
