need help, pull trigger, fire twice at inconsistent intervals

    specs :

    emax valve
    L10 bolt
    ule body
    tac rail
    intelliframe

When I pull the trigger the gun will fire fine once. When I let off of the trigger a little bit of time will pass and the gun will fire again. I was guessing that this is a problem with the on/off pin not going pack into position so I oiled it up real good, but that didn't fix anything.

    Any suggestions?

Looks pretty fresh, not much wear at all.

I have had that happen. Not sure how I fixed it. Make sure your field strip screw is tight.

What is your velocity at? Try turning it up.

It sounds like your bolt is sticking. I have an Rt doing the same thing. Lvl 10? I think I read it could be the spacer in the lvl 10. I havn't tried to fix mine yet. Good luck.
Due to the objections of a certain Canadian, this space is now for rent.

If you have an emax valve, do you also have an emax on-off pin? If so it is probably too short for your setup. The on-off pin should be .750" long.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

i had the same problem and athomas is right...my pin was too short....my sear was worn so i got a .770 pin which fixed it

also try using shims in your on off

Using shims will make the on-off pin appear even shorter than it is. This would make the problem worse.

hey what if you put an oring above the 2 on off orings, that would lower the distance needed to seal them , acting like a longer pin?

An oring is 80/1000 of an inch (just a guess) but the distance needed to make an adjustment is only 10 - 20/1000 of an inch.

I'm assuming this gun worked fine and this started happening. Take the halves apart and pull out your valve pin (it's the Top Secrete part no one wants to talk about) Check the condition of the 2 o-ringswith the split spacer in between. Clean and oil reinstall. Also check the clearance of the rod to the back of your trigger (make sure you have at least 1/32" to1/16") good luck
