i just got a new remote with a slide check and QD. i didn't get to use it on the field yet. i was lock-titing some parts to a in-line reg for my 98C and i was using the remote to check for leaks to patch up and when i shut off the SC it was leaking. i re-opened it and it still leaked. the leak is definitely coming from the SC. the air comes out towards the QD, from the general area of the pressure relief hole. i have a game to play on sunday (17th) on a 30 acre piece of land, and i dont want to miss it, so any help you guys can offer will be much appreciated!!! thanks!!!!

Take the SC off
I had the same exact problem with my new remote/ 98 custom. My slide check was very fussy. It would leak most of the time. I took it off and connected the hose right to the QD part. I know it sucks to lose the SC but at least my remote works perfectly. No tank on my gun was the goal. Because of this problem, and now yours, i'm very suspicious of any remote with a Slide check.WE ARE DEADCELL, AND WE WILL RUN THROUGH YOU

dorksquad
there are two o-rings inside the slide check, just unscrew the slide check and remove it, you may have to remove a c clip or something, any way replace and lube the orings,if you do or have gotten dirt in there you may cut the rings and they wont seal.

dorksquad is right...
remove the c-clip (be careful of the ball bearings!)...slide the slidy thingy off, get a pick, pull out the orings, replace them (i think they are standard co2 bottle orings), oil and reassemble.
it sounds easier than it is, though!!
