    Hyper frame need help

I have just recieved a Hyper Frame in a trade BNIB. For some reason nothing seems to line up? I have downloaded the manual and it does not tell me anything that I need to know. There is some extra parts in the box seems to be a sear (not from a mag) 2 frame screws and a small spring? The grip frame itself does not seem to fit a mag rail but looks it it would fit a mag body as it has a kind of radius to the top portion of the frame. The frame screw holes dont even line up. The pics I have seen on here have one of the frame screws just in front of the trigger? The one I have has that same grip screw hole out in front of the trigger guard?

So, does anyone know what kind of Hyper frame I have? I thought that they only made the one style but with different boards in them. Also if it was not made for a mag do you think it would work?

Any help would be appreciated. I was wondering if Luke may help me out if he can. What do you think?

They made Hyperframes for a few different markers besides Automags. I know they made them for Piranhas and Autocockers, but there may be more. It definitely sounds like you got one for some marker other than an Automag.

I doubt it would be compatible without some serious modifications. You can talk to luke, but I'm guessing you would be better off selling it and using the funds to buy one for an Automag.

it sounds like a spyder frame. you could sell it and try to pick up a mag frame or just spyder-mag it. luke would be the one to talk to about that one.

You said it came new in the box? IIRC it should say what marker it was made for, unless someone switched the boxes around on you. They did make them for a few markers besides the automag.

Sorry, that really sucks. Did they tell you it was for the automag?

Wooky, sounds like you got a Spyder frame like another member stated. If you really want to keep it I can give guide you on how to do a SpyderMag conversion it sould be the same idea. I made one out of a Spyder ESP frame before. All the work can be done with a Dremel & file. If possible I would return it and get a ESP frame instead 25-50 dollars.

Yeah as stated above sounds like a hyperframe for a spyder. If you sell it and are interested in picking up one for a mag I have a brand new chrome 20 BPS hyperframe for sale and yes it is for an automag. Like everyone said you can always mod the frame via luke or yourself.

Nevtangle, they did say it was for a Mag that is why I am so pissed I have only been screwed on one deal I have ever done on the net and this will make two!! There is nothing in the box other than what I told you and a corner piece of the Centerflag advertisement that says Hyper Frame.

Flyingpootang, I wished I could send it back but no such luck I have tried to email the guy and call his phone# but no response ? I would take you up on that idea if you dont mind and maybe that will help me make up my mind. Thanks

Well fellas got any ideas on where I may be able to unload this thing? I would like to try to make it work but it does not seem that it will be very easy. I do have a lathe and a mill and I am sure that given an idea on how it should work... I could make it work but would it be worth it? I have some classic parts that I would probably use and a classic reverse valve.

Ghostdog, I would imagine that if you have a NIB 20bps chrome Hyper frame I am sure that you will want a grip for the frame. Are you only accepting cash or are you willing to do some trading? Not that I have anything you desire but I figured it was worth a shot.

Thanks for all input fellas I appreciate it. What is the best way to a hold of Luke? PM, email? Because if Flyingpootang has some ideas that I may use I might need a trigger and some other parts.

Damn that realy sucks. Maybe try to get some of the money back by putting it up on ebay. I've seen a few Hyperframes that weren't for mags up for auction on ebay. Maybe it's worth a shot. As mentioned, if you were going to mod a frame I would use a less expensive esp frame or similar. That's just my .02
