    Back In

My Cousin recently got me back into paintball, besides an after market barrel I have an essentially stock minimag. I prefer to play with the tank vertical. As an occasional player should I bother with an air system or just stick with CO2? If I should switch to air what inexpensive setup would you recommend?

HPA is cheap for the steel tanks, but they weigh a ton. If you only play occasionally then I think it would be hard to justify the expense of a fibre wrapped tank. I like vert co2, I used to run my cocker like that.

I would reccomend a gas-thru stock, expansion chamber/gas thru grip and a remote line. That is how I play and then the weight of one of the 72/3k HPA tanks that are so cheap really wouldn't be an issue. (I use a 114/4500 or my backup 48/3k steel tank, or my backup backup 12oz co2).

Good luck with the mag, I find myself playing more and more with my Mags, and less with my Angels.
