    Sear Mod and Pneumag

I am thinking of going Pneumag sometime down the road, here is my question, if I get the sear mod from Luke's Customs now, will it still benefit me when I go pneumag, or will it be money wasted?

for a pneumag you completely remove the sear rod so yes the mod would be wasted money.

On the other hand all luke would be doing is drilling a nother hole right above the current one. which means you could do it yourself if you were so inclined.

What you are actually paying for is a straight hole in a relatively small component that is made from hard steel. If you have the tools, it's easy. If not, it can be a fight.

You'll need some sort of vise and a drill with some low speed torque. I would think a dremel would make it with a lot of caution. That little hole would be a good bit breaker.
