No electrical mods really need to be done. The only thing to watch for is if that board has 2 noid ports (can't remember if egos have 1 or 2). Either way, nothing should change electrically. The 3 way takes the place of the noid.

Burn in hell...that's a metaphor for what really is to come. It seems that a whole lot of players are trying to get more out of their mags while at the same time reducing the overall weight of the mag. Even the ULE is still kind of heavy compared to an ego or some of the other highend markers.
Just recently I sold my Emag to go back to the mechanical mag, but unfortunately, that didn't satisfy me either. I mean it didn't even make it to one game before I was researching what other players have done with their mags.
I would have just bought an ego(my second favorite marker), but I'm a diehard Mag enthusiast, I just couldn't let it go. Maybe one day I'll just buy an ego to see how they handle, but for now, it's the mag.Comment

Evil;
Did you and your buddy ever make it any furthur with the iAngel frame mod?
Im short on cash right now, trying to re-use some other parts to try it out.
Do you know where I can get a project PCB like the one is in the Angel frame?
Radio Shack no longer carries them,... and I would like to try my hand at it.

Ya, the angel's been done for a while. I was going to put in bounce eyes but i gave up on that project due to lack of playing.
As for the pcb, if your radio shack doesn't carry blank pcb's try either Digikey or Mouser. They have everything under the sun you would need for any of the electrical projects. And last try All Electronics ~ Perf board link. They don't have much but there perf boards are cheep!
All i did to cut the board out was trace the original speed board and cut w/ a dremel and a metal cut-off blade then a little fine sanding. done.
the 8 pin wire sends all button & switch commands & power up to the main board in the angel batt. tube
Ok, if you need more help just ask. Those links should help a lot.

Ah,.. well I hit a snag in my EP Angel framed Mag.
The problem is the Angel trigger. I wanted to use it so I could keep the outside the same.
The problem is where the ram needs to sit and the way the trigger curves up and over,.. keeps hitting my 90 degree nipple fitting.
I would have finished it tonight if the trigger wasnt such a pain. I have to re-do all the layout now because Ive cut all I can from the stock trigger and its still in the way.
Oh well,... I'll look at it again this weekend. At least my EGO frame is done.

ya i thought about an angel frame but steered away from it for a number of reasons. one of the reasons was the trigger placement and the second being the giant open side at the top.
i always like the angel frames and ive owned quite a few angels of the years, honestly the only other frame i liked was the ion frame(for feel). i had a dye single trigger angel frame on a fly and then on an Excaliber and it was sweet.i buy soulsComment

Im looking at doing a re-build on the trigger.
The simple solution is to cut the back aprt off and mill it down to drop the micro switch in from the top.
I just ordered a new noid for this frame and Erick (Cyberrave) has already mailed me the ram, screws, and fittings.
I got a micro emag Im going to use for the body if my rails dont come back from Ryan (Coolhand) before February. He has some extra stuff sent out in my anno batch for me.
This should be a pretty sweet frame once its done. Im using 3 different noids, startig with the smaller SMC.
I dont have a camera, but if I can get my sister to take some pictures I will post em up.

My EGO board (which is stock) has the ability to use BB eyes.Originally posted by FORDICan you add eyes to the red egomag???????
The body in that picture needs to be dilled for eyes, and the rail needs a clot milled for the wires as well.
But a minimal work order for Luke to do.
So I believe the answer to your question is YES.
If proper planning and the gun sent to the right guy, the gun could use a set of eyes.
