wanting a lil bit of info EP MAG

im looking into building one, and im really in need of some pics you guys have taken. my thoughts are this ive got a chimera frame already pneu'd and ready to go, everything is internal. now i want to add the E portion, but im thinking of getting an emag pack and doing some work to it to get the board battery and anything else i can fit in it there. im looking for the noid placement, and switch placement ideas. the electro thing is kinda new to me, ive had a few but never really sat down and figured out how they work. so its gonna be a new thing for me. any help you can give me would be great

You don't even have my frame yet and already thinking about making it electo pnuematic. As for the battery pack idea your best bet would be to get Lukes Emag battery pack adaptor and place board, battery, and ep noid in the pack. The LPR as it is internal and connected with the ASA can not be removed. With that information you may at least be able to get an idea of what you need to do.

as far as what you said thats what im thinking cram as much as possible into the pack, i want it to be super clean, the frame looks beautiful and i want the rest to look that way as well. and cutting a channel into the rail for wire management should be fairly easy with a couple drops drilled into it to drop into the pack and into the frame.

I will be making a one of a kind electro pnuematic mag with my stormwalker frame once I get out of this financial hole. Hopefully this was the last of the hosipital bills. I would fill you in on how I am making my frame but I will wait until I can produce it. I dont want't anyone beating me to my own idea. I will say it is going to be a true sleeper.

I haven't seen two EP mags the same by two different people, and few by the same person.

As far as operation, have you tried the manuals? The intimidator alias and ion manuals are on the web. The control concepts are very similar. You may have an MPA-3 instead of a bolt or a ram, and for a mag there's no reason for the return air signal, just the supply and 'fire' connections.

Get an idea on what frame you are going to use first.

Once you get all the pieces of the hardware figured out,.. try to fit ur noid and ram after that.

Then the regulator should come after.

The StormWalk was made as an idea Jay had and I was doing for my EPM Kits.

He based the backs off the Airwalk frame,.. which I have just finished my newest EP mag install on. The only thing showing is the reg. All other parts are internal.

If you want a real sleeper,.. get a StormWalk and set it up as you see fit.

Jay is the man to talk to about the Storm Walk.

I just kinda told him what it can be used for if he made certain changes. The finished version is about 90 percent working for what you need. Depending of the noid and such you put inside,.. it gives you the amount of milling u need to do.

I used BE's list of parts to do my EP test baby.

I went with different noids (like 5 different ones).... they all work,... but word of caution.

Build yourself a LPR pressure test kit. I made one,. and it helps set things up correct the first time around.
