    Slug details

Hello, I have been reviewing the slug drawings and have a couple questions:

First, the drawing doesnt specify the the barrel threads. I imagine they are Cocker threads but what threads are they?

Second. When looking at detail A, I see there is a spring clip and retainer cutout...
can someone elaborate cause all I have is a mini and there is no such structure, just a welded fender washer...

    Detail more detail of detail

    Thanks

There was a recent thread in DocNickel's guild forums where someone posted info about it. Let me see if I can find it.

      p.s. Found it

It is basically a SS washer to act as a wear plate. Its harder than the Alumium body, and gives a but more are for things to wack to disapte energy. It also is a good referance point to make sure the bolt depth is correct as well.

I understand the concept of disapating engery and that all makes sense.
I am really having a hard time visualizing this. There are two groves seperated by a space.

            _/ |_/|

The first grove holds the retainer clip... the space is for the washer/wear plate. What purpose does the second groove serve? Does it hold a grommet to cusion the washer?

Would someone clairify or can anyone provide a physical picture?

And Geeze Louise, one would hope the bolt depth is correct with such tight tolorances
