Do I need a QEV for a Pneumag???

Hi. like the title says, is it necessary? I saw an ANS QEV, is that any good? I figure for like $15-20 it's worth it if it will make a difference. Basically, I am just wondering how it will help the performance. Thanks everyone!!!

improves speed, decreases effiency, is not needed

How much faster will it make the trigger?? I am just looking for like 15bps, not like 25-30. If I can get away without one, I would rather, especially if it's more efficient not to have one. Thanks guys

It depends on what you want from your pneumag, I guess. But in my opinion, I don't think you need one.

From what I've heard, a QEV makes top speeds (like 20+ bps) possible. But for someone who can only shoot around 10-15 bps (like you and me), a QEV isn't necessary. I just built a pneumag, and I didn't use a QEV, but it still outperformed my expectations. I play woodsball mostly, so I just don't need that 20+ bps speed.

I made an electro with one of those mpa3 things that everyone used in PEumags. I got it to cycle at 20bps no problem without one. So if its too much trouble to add, its really not needed.

Awesome to hear that!!! Truth is, I just don't want to spend another $20 right now. I have been spending a ton lately. I guess I can always add it later if I really feel I need it.

You probably wouldn't notice the difference.

                  They are not necessary.

Save yourself the trouble and the money.

                  just my two cents

                  :)
