Hi. like the title says, is it necessary? I saw an ANS QEV, is that any good? I figure for like $15-20 it's worth it if it will make a difference. Basically, I am just wondering how it will help the performance. Thanks everyone!!!
Do I need a QEV for a Pneumag???

It depends on what you want from your pneumag, I guess. But in my opinion, I don't think you need one.
From what I've heard, a QEV makes top speeds (like 20+ bps) possible. But for someone who can only shoot around 10-15 bps (like you and me), a QEV isn't necessary. I just built a pneumag, and I didn't use a QEV, but it still outperformed my expectations. I play woodsball mostly, so I just don't need that 20+ bps speed.Comment

You probably wouldn't notice the difference.
They are not necessary.
Save yourself the trouble and the money.
