Well, i got this idea from saber on MCB, in taking an old shocker grip frame n modding it to fit a mag. He did it with a micro tho, while i did it with my rt, and plan to do another for my classic.
Basicly the main things that needed to be done were:
- drilling a hole for the twistlock
- elongating, and in the case of a classic RT enlarging, the thumbscrew hole as it doesnt quite line up
- and modifying the trigger, and/or if u want the sear pin to fit
- also, a longer front screw will be needed, unless u wanna thin the frame there for the stock screw to fit
- also added a second pin to serve as a stop for the the trigger

Benefits: a different look, magnetic trigger return, cheaper
Drawbacks: time consuming, it's smart parts so some may not like it:P
I plan to add faux ivory grips as well. Thinking this type of frame would serve for pneumagging purposes quite well
