    Building a TL-63 Trigger?

My boss is letting my fix up his E-Mag since basic 'Mag tinkering is a hobby of mine. I have an extra standard AGD blade trigger from my Chimera Frame and I'd like to replace his grooved trigger. I had thought about a Fireblade or Tunablade but with their current scarcity I figured this would be just as satisfying.

Luckily the trigger stops I installed for this blade fit perfectly for the trigger magnet spots. My approach was to first make the hole in the top and middle of the trigger larger so the magnets can fit in. Next is to dremel/file down back of the trigger so it fits into the frame and works properly in all modes.

Am I missing anything or taking a wrong approach? Any secrets/methods I should know that makes the process easier?

The blade trigger wont work in the emag no matter how you try to modify it. TunaBlades in black are in stock. Email me.

Were the TL-63s then specifically made for E-Mags?

I suppose I can come to terms with why it won't work, but exactly why won't it work?

Yes. They made them special for emags. Not many either. It wont work because the trigger dimensions are different. Not enough room for the top magnet for one...

But theoretically, what if different (smaller) magnets were used using a similar concept? Perhaps some small rare earth magnets glued to an adjustable hex screw on both the top and in the middle of the trigger?

Or are there more differences than that between the standard AGD blade triggers and the TL-63?

Well I suppose if you went through all of that you COULD reposition smaller magnets. You would also have to add to the width of the trigger so it wouldn't slop around...or shim it in the middle of the frame...

Okay, cool. Earlier when you mentioned it couldn't be done I didn't realize you meant with the standard E-Mag magnets. I happen to have a spare blade trigger, so if the project fails then there's no harm done. Thanks, Tuna.
