    Modding other frames

Im kinda new here to begin with.

Anyway, what is the easiest electronic frame to mod onto a Mag? I was planning on grabbing an Intelliframe and cramming a 98 E-Grip into there but I got outbid. So what are your suggestions? Buy a cheap already electronic spyder frame? Buying a WGP Hinge frame and cramming the E-Grip in there? What?

I frames are easy to pneu, chimera and logic frames are also very easy to work with, they have a relatively large amount of space inside the frame to work with.

05/06 Ego frames area fairly inexpensive and easy to mod.

How do you guys feel about cramming a 98C E-Grip in an i frame?

no harm done. I just know i frames are good frames and i have the electronics at hand.

Do you feel that it is possible and could be easily done?

I don't think any sear-tripping electro frame can be done easily. A spyder frame is already done for you, but you're better off going electropneumatic.

Pneu looks like a total pain in the arse though. How easy is it?

It depends on how you do it. It beats mounting a clapper noid, I have A-5 e-grip internals I was going to mount in an old benchmark (basically the same as intelli), I gave up on it.

To really get an idea of how easy/hard it is, you're going to have to know how it's done. Go find some threads of people who've done e-pneu conversions, see how they fit stuff in their frames and where they put their LPR's.

epneu is not hard at all if you have the time, tools, and patience.

Not tough at all as long as you're not concerned with fitting everything in the frame, it's more a matter of having the right parts on hand. You'll need:

                        Frame
                        Board
                        Ram
                        LPR
                        Solenoid
                        Proper fittings and hose.
