    opposite of a actuator?

what would be the opposite of a actuator? specifically, what would be the opposite of the MPA-3 actuator that is use in EP mags? (meaning it would pull....instead of push)

there is no opposite an actuator can go both ways it all comes down to specs if it can go 1 way 2 ways or 1 way spring return normally open or closed etc.

autococker rams where called rams for who knows what reason.

Go snag an online pnuematic pdf and you will learn more terms then you would want 2

I built my own actuator that pulls and installed it into an emag frame.

I have to finish the milling for the hose,... but it works enough to fire the gun.

If you want a place to start looking,.... check out the Bimba line of cylinders that are double acting.

You would need to use the input line on the top end of the ram,.. but it would do what your looking for.
