    CCM Shocker Emag with AK-47

Ok I finally got my project to shoot today, but there was an issue with pin length and as soon as I receive the replacement from AGD it should pass the test and get sent off to the annodizer crossing fingers.

Anyway I have been tired of waiting for an emag upgrade that is not pneumatic. I figured that day will never come and I will be endlessly looking at old youtube videos of pneumags and circa 2001 emag halo videos.

So I decided to take things into my own hands and make the following changes:

    1) No more battery pin.
    2) No more long hose.
    3) shorter battery pack
    4) A simple way to recharge the battery without removing it from the gun
    5) A lighter frame and overall lighter gun.
    6) Shorter profile
    7) superior trigger with no slop and micro switch instead of HES.

So here it is. These are really old pics and don't do the gun justice in looks, but I'm living in Jersey and left my camera in California. As soon as I go back on the 27th I'll take some new pics.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

,, however a viking frame would have been easier to use.

yes that is true. But the shocker frame is 3 x lighter than the stock emag frame, holes almost line up well, it is shorter and is more aethetically pleasing.

The other issue was that I wanted to make it lighter than an Emag and shorter.
So the CCM shocker was really the ticket here. You will also notice that the fitting comes out of the frame to connect to the Xvalve, this is not a flaw there is good clearance from the hand and does not get in the way when shooting. My biggest problem at the time was modifying the sear, it wasn't difficult, only tricky trying to have the measurements correct.

This whole project has taken me a year to build but it had alot to do with design change and now looks nothing like I had originally designed it.

            New Pics

These are the new pics of the RAW prototype. It will be going to anno soon and the handguard needs to be finished.

This is the front view and you can see the blue push button switch and battery recharge port right below.

This is the inside of the handguard and you can see the push button switch that is housed
inside. This is my way of replacing the emag battery pin. I also have a parallel connector below the switch that is used to recharge the battery without having to remove it.

This is the side profile view of the prototype and you can see the emag solenoid and part of the board. There is also a female to female elbow inside that allows me to connect the micro fittings.

I got to shoot it and it sounded wicked fast, dead on accurate and sounded very quiet due to the clamping of the barrel from the wooden handguard. I really can't wait for this to be finished. Any comments (good or bad) and questions will be greatly appreciated.
