After a TON of freehanding failure I finally sat down and decided to map out what I'm doing

This allows a decent fit within the parameters of the materials I have handy and with the tools I have handy. Conspicuously lacking are measurements, which I havent bothered to drop on there yet. All electronics/air supply/etc are being run through the hollowed out cavity in the stock (only partially drawn). Hidden also is the mortise where I will be shoving my trigger aparatti
The real fun part is the spring tension magazine I have planned and how I am going to mount it...Its not evident from the photo but the ion tube is upside down. Hopefully get out in the shop monday and fix this up
Previous failures :
Here
Errata :
Materials:
-Most of a bone stock ion (70$)
-SKS Reciever cover (fits just perfect over the guts) -25.99$ from Marstar
-A single 2x4x8 peice of poplar (yes yes, I know)
-Autosketch, the one thing I learned in highschool that has proved useful
Tooling:
12 inch universal vice
Drill press
Mortisizing attatchment for said drill
1/2 inch flat router bit
Bandsaw/Tablesaw/Planer
More on it as it progresses. If folks want the measurements I can start attempting to throw those out. At this point I would eat an entire box of kittens for a nice cnc router table which may be in the cards anyway...I wonder how it would work for aluminum paintball applications
