    Electro-pneu-Z!

Posting this for a friend... he has been working on this for about a year now milling down the Z etc. took the noid and actuator out of a trilogy frame... (and the board for now) slapped it together the other day and it definatley shoots paint out of a barrely relatively fast obviousley by the pics there is some more work to go but he wanted some AO opinions and help... anyone who has done this or is doing this post up with any tips for him. here are the pics

The Trilogy Cocker uses a VERY simular pneumatic solenoid/ram combo like CoolHand made for his EM Ripper.

The part you see from the top in the pictures above is the actual ram itself. What you dont see is the body of the solenoid that uses a portion of the ram as a manifold.

The problem I see with this setup as with the MPA-3 when you start adding electronics is the same with all frames,... the space for the micro-switch is reduced.

        One_quick_ta:

Im local to you,... if your buddy wants to change out that board for a UTB at some point,.. tell him I have the parts in stock,.. we could probley just meet up in Concord.

Also,.. I can make new crimps as well,... so if he finds another board he is going to use,.. I can make new connectors for the solenoid and such.

he positioned the switch right behind the trigger if you look at the top pic you can see the metal switch behind the trigger.

This is the best possible end that a trilogy could ever hope for
