Thanks for that ^^. I don't think I'll need this valve for what I intend to use the tanks for.
The whole premise for this set up is two-fold...
1. An almost never ending CO2 supply for me for the big game on Saturday (given my anticipation of personal paint use);
2. My 12yr old daughter has the opportunity to be a DT gunner on a tank and we may need to supply the air source [the tank's being built as we speak]. If that's the case, she can lay this down on the floor of the tank and just hook it up to the asa.
Yep ~7lbs of CO2 for about 2 cases of paint just for me to shoot alone...lol.
See, I already have a 3-pounder and filled with approx 30/35oz got me a case and a quarter on a decent temperature day. Dick's Sporting Goods' scale only went to 25oz and he guessed at how much over 25 he went.
If one takes the "CO2 shot graphs" at their word, a 20oz tank should yield approx 1200 shots from my A5...give or take.
3 lbs equates to about 48oz of CO2 each...so using that math, I should get approx 3000 shots per full fill...give or take a few hundred shots.
I plan on using at LEAST two cases of paint myself, that's 4k shots. If I carry both filled, I should be able to shoot 3 full cases before refill is necessary.
I'm already set up to carry a full case of paint (and have done so at all big games) and plan on doing that at DDay but right now there is a "changing of the air guard" at DDay and the new supplier is still "feeling out" what they need for the game (as far as air and CO2 logistics goes). The last guy (AirGuy) only supplied air at certain locations/dead boxes but paint is supposed to be available at more locations than air is. I'm counting on that and plan on taking one case in-field and getting another at the dead box (closest with paint).
Or...if my daughter needs these for her DT...she can get at least 3 full cases before needing a refill. Plus for her, I have the third 3-pounder and other smaller (20oz) tanks but she has a tank to ride in....she can store it there and not have to lug it around like I have to....lmao.
Yeah...this is going to be a game of a lifetime for both of us and I want to make SURE that I have maximized our resources for a seamless game play.
