    need some help with terminology?

I have a micromag 2000, one of the last ones made.

It came with a standard sear and sear pin. I used an intelli frame on it and it works GREAT.

Now i want to put an Emag lower on it and everything is fine, except the sear will not fit into the slot in the mircomag body.

The sear for the emag has a fat or thick washer on it and it will not fit into the slot on the micro body.

Somehow i need to explain this to LUKE so he knows what to do, but the way i am explaining it, he does not know what i am talking about?

SO, can someone explain it better than me, use technical names so i can share this with LUKE??

you have an Emag sear installed in your emag lowers instead of a microEmag sear.

The difference is the thickness. (especially where the bushing is). IIRC you will need the sear and the bushing turned down. I can measure my sears for you, but it will be a day or two.

the E Mag sear assembly is like .005 thicker than the slot in the body , the sear bushing also has to be drilled/ reamed to fit the Micro sear pin

ok, so, why can't the micromag body be milled to accept it?

ALSO, will i run into this problem with the new Micromag 09?

it will be cheaper to buy a microemag sear.

I am not sure on the 09 body. I asked alot of questions, and never got an answer for most. I gave up on the 09 body.

It's not that I didn't understand what you were saying, I just wanted YOU to be certain what you wanted me to do.

It pays to do your research before you let the chips fly..
