Custom mount for a qloader on a Tac-One

I'm looking to do a custom mount on my Tac-One. I have a Longbow ready screw holes in the body and a warped right feed.

Basically I want to mount the qloader directly on to the warped right feed without any hose, just like the Sp1 mod on qloader's website: http://www.qloader.com/sp1kit.html

Only mounted on either the 3 screw holes on the side, or on the angled railing.

Anyway, does anyone know who might be able to help me get this custom mount made?

If the pod is going to be facing forward, I'm sure you can do this with the standard CMS upgrade and its brackets, mounted directly to a winged rail of course.

      What's a winged rail?

How does the CMS mount onto it if it is horizontal of the marker?

On an Automag a rail is the piece between the grip frame and the body. A winged rail is what came on the RT Pro and Tac-One before ULE was released. It has three screw holes on each side of the rail tapped into two the wider "winged" part of the rail, like the one you have.

This is a winged rail: http://i44.tinypic.com/14vsqqq.jpg

Better pic of how I mounted it: http://i40.tinypic.com/27zdu6a.jpg

With this socket and the bracket attached to it: http://www.qloader.com/cms.html

You can just reverse the bracket to get the feedport lined up with your warp-right feedneck and you're set to go. Quick question; How did you manage to mount a warp body to a winged rail?

          Simple

I bought a metal file kit and used a rounded file to to round out the spot where the warped right feedneck goes in. I'd upload some pics, but my Tac-One is in at Palmer's right now getting a custom built barrel.

Kind of a weird way to go about it. Originally I bought the longbow ready tac-one, got the longbow kit, hated it so I then went for the T2W stock with a warped right body.

On another note, I don't have the same frame as you do below the mainbody, I still have the screw holes, but its the new frame. Can I still use the CMS upgrade?

The other thing I noticed, and why I had originally disregarded the CMS upgrade was that the mount side is on the opposite side of the feedline, I'm trying to get rid of the hose all together and wanted it to feed directly into the marker like onthe SP1 mod.

Post up some pics, but generally if you have the screw holes you should be fine.

I'm guessing you're not a lefty, so this would make reloading difficult, would have been better if you had a warp-left body.

Actually I am a lefty, but since I'm right eye dominant I trained to shoot with my right hand. yeah, for this custom set up I should have gone with a warped left main body. Do you know if AGD will accept any trade ins for a discount?

Also, my biggest question is does anyone know who I should contact about custom paintball parts? I have some other things I'm interested in doing as well, just need to find the right company/person to go to get this stuff made

Funny that, I'm ambidextrous. Write with my left hand but shoot with my right.

I highly doubt it, but give Tuna a call and find out if he's willing to help you out.

Lots of people on this forum that can. Take a look in the vendor section or call Luke.

this the thread you were talking about?

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

The problem is, since I want to do it on a warped body I need something to actually mount it to the body.

Does anyone know what this mod is?

I found this picture on qloader's gallery, unfortunately they didn't list whose marker it was and didn't list what mod it was, so I'm throwing this out there, if anyone knows which mod this is, I may be able to get this to work for my Tac-One:

Again. That's the CMS (http://www.qloader.com/cms.html) with the 90 degree bracket on the far right (in the CMS link) and the clamp on the middle bracket attached to it.
