When was these made and other questions to ponder

Hey everyone thanks for taking time to look at this and tell me what you think. I Know from the markings it is an Air America regulator. I bought an old tank not too long ago and this was on top of it. It a dedicated reg and tank setup I believe. it had steel line coming out of the one side. I was wondering when they were made. If they are still used. Whats the value on them. I tried to google it and found nothing on it so I figured my beloved paintball community would be able to pinpoint exactly what it is. Thanks alot for you time
Here is some pics of it

hmm, id say it resembles a raptor reg, perhaps an older version.
tho if it werent for the writing on it, i'd have thought someone went n stuck an automag classic valve half onto a raptor.

I used to run a similar AirAmerica reg on my VMX... It came with a whole AirAmerica internals set.

          Late 90's?

Shane-O-Mac (on AO, Shane-O on MCB) might know the exact vintage. Air America had some of the first (if not the first) commercial HPA systems and used the automag regulator design (and built with the same durability). If you can find seals for it, it probably works. The 'Fred Schultz' on the adapter may actually be worth something. It at least identifies the model.

Yeah it still works and has all the internals in it I filled the tank when I got and mounted it on my gun I just dont like the fact that a tank is dedicated to that gun alone. I like to switch out tanks or guns for that matter. Well if anyone is interested in it pm me an offer and see what we can work out. I dont have alot of need for it

Well you have a Fred Schultz signature series cradle, and what they then called a "Unireg", it became the "Raptor" when they milled the front half a bit, then became the "Raptor Rex" when they went to 4500psi. Use standard AA reg seats and pins and your golden. The piston itself doesnt go bad, but the o-ring can be replaced with a mag o-ring. Some of the earlier Uniregs were also engraved with Fred's signature as a sig series. Internally it breaks down just like a mag, but once you crack the body halves, you should replace the seat. Only if its spiking in pressure should you open the body halves. You can find another cradle and make it work for multiple guns if thats what you want to do.
I have nothing good to put here...........

these type of air tanks were the reason they made those quick switch pullpin systems.
