    Update on my micro clone

Well, I've fixed all of the probs, n now am doing a few mods for aesthetic purposes.

Filled n re-drilled the detent hole
Shaved off the useless dovetail, looks incredibly nice now, imo
Finished the trigger frame, shoots nice n smooth with no hiccups
Just did the angle for the vertical ASA, mainly because it didnt fit my drop n looks nicer with the vert frame
Cleaned the barrel threads a bit, still not perfect tho
Redid a spare gas-thru I had, cp clone wannabe?

As for things still to come:
Black Grip panels, n black screws, will prolly just use black nail polish or somethin on the screw heads
Black Macroline fittings are on the way
Hopefully will have a Black shocktech valve half
I intend to prime n paint all the bare aluminum parts with some self-etching car primer my bro found, n paint it with Almond appliance paint, like an off-white, but sounds cooler when u say almond

and.... I intend to turn it into a vert feed, hopefully will work out the way i intend it to. Am going to mount that green thing in the 3rd pic, after dremeling n filling with quiksteel. After that, will mount an ego clamping feedneck, hopefully, the 2 screws will hold it securely... if not the body is useless

    keep the side feed man..
i find after playing for more than 20 years i love my side feeds..

im the guy who converts most center feed markers to side feed,

well know for my side feed ions both in 45 and 90 degrees..

Now i have a xmag and im going the other way trying to find a way to side feed it..

its funny how things work out.. But thats some very nice work you have done there bud.
And if it helps i dont like thread cutting as well.

    Keep up the good work

      Looks good!

I would just machine an "off-set' vert assembly so you can site down the barrel.

yea i was planning to keep the powerfeed n maybe even go with luke's idea, but the mounting job done by whomever made this didnt do a very good job, even when i tighten the screw I use, the feed wiggles a lot, and most of the time i worry about if stripping and popping off.

          And, put it all together
          <a href="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d74/BiNumber3/P7140357.jpg"><img src="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d74/BiNumber3/P7140357.jpg" width="400" height="300"></img></a>

Test fired, n ran a hopper of paint through, no probs what-so-ever
