    Universal T-Board choice

I'll take the two buttons for sure, but I'm not too sure wich bolt option to choose from. I'm almost 100% sure I should take the open bolt board, but I don't want to make any mistake here.

    Anyone could confirm my thoughts?

    Thanks.

      OPEN.

The closed bolt version is for cockers andexcals. It can run two solenoids instead of just one.

Two solenoids? I'm having trouble figuring how they're used...
Solenoids are like a valve right?

I've only looked at the excal arrangement, but one solenoid controls the bolt and the other controls the hammer. On a cocker, one is the front solenoid valve for the usual 'cocker' bolt, and the other is for a plain sear solenoid or an mq valve. IIRC, there are dwell settings for each output and in between (like bolt settling time). I was going to make something out of that closed bolt UTB at one time, but I can't remember now. It was only a few brain cells anyway...

A 'solenoid' is really just a coil magnet with a moving center piece. What you hook it to is the difference. An emag solenoid is just a solenoid connected to the sear. An ego mag, viking, excal, etc. uses a "solenoid valve" which is an integrated solenoid and pneumatic valve.
