    68 classic

i'm new to the automag, and want to toss my new (to me) 68 classic a few upgrades. can it be ULE'd, Lvl 10 bolted, or X-valved?

Welcome to the family! As you upgrade you will find out your mags increase in number. Adding parts to your first will leave you with parts to build a second and so on...

You can either add a LVLX bolt to your current valve or replace the classic valve with an X valve that comes with a LVLX bolt. Going to the X valve also lightens the weight since it is made of aluminum instread of stainless like the classic valve. As far as ULE you cant do much to the classic body except change it out for a ULE body, again aluminum for stainless. The rail on the classic is aluminum and you can can have it milled to take away the areas that aren't need for performance.

Search the forums for pictures and machinists that can help you out!

there is NO END to the upgrades you can do to an automag and thats what the company was built on. they sent you an automag that you could not shoot out of the box. and people bought them. you dont see many "cookie cutter" mag.

they are a direct reflection of your personality.

It's why you fall in love with them

been loyal to mags for 12 years

bought and owned at least a dozen tippmanns, a couple spyders, some pirannas. I wanted to find a gun that would be a good backup for my mag, figured that I should spend half on a backup gun then I would on my primary...

after 12 years you know what the back up to my mag is? another mag
