AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
sounds like your planning on slipping the insert directly into the body and locking it down with a freak front.
i dont have calipers here so i cant get you an exact O.D. but 5 & 1/16" x 3/4" looks pretty close.
If your body is really wierd, try showing it to people in the streets for money.-Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Tips for aliens in New York, Surviving
ok thanks guys. Yeah, I was planning on making my own paintball barrel that is like the freak, the only difference i would guess is the fact that the inserts are gong to be 7-8" long and possibly rifled. I found aluminum tubing really cheap and I can bore out my own barrels because i have a lathe.
I think i might just ask Doc and see if he'll tell me the threading. the original plan was to just use inserts from a freak but I dont have that much cash on me to buy a whole set so Im gonna buy me some seamless tubing.

an experiment to see if rifling really does work with paintballs or not. Concidering the thickness of paint these days it might work but iim not just going to play guessing games. Im gonna find out for my self.
