i was wondering how much metal polishing removes from aluminum. Bacically if i want a tube with an inner diameter of .708" should i mill less away(l mill it to a diameter of .704") and then the polishing would make it .708"

it will take down some metal, but not much. i would leave 4-5 thousandths extra and then polish it down to where you want it.:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: Metal kids have more fun!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
Atleast wipers are good for something........target practice.
