    making a warp feed cocker body

    ok i pretty much know where im drilling and attaching this feed tube thing. but how do i patch the old hole on the body any ideas?

      To patch the old hole you may try just welding in a a piece of thick flat metal and then of course grinding it down and smoothing it out to give it the "stock" appearance.

          I have a cocker that was right feed converted to vert feed, and I have no clue at all how they patched it up, but it looks very clean (besides the off color)

            ^^^ That's a pretty common procedure, I have seen that done to many right feeds. Thats why I know it couldnt be that hard to make a warp version....

              alumalloy or w/e that thing is


              i saw it on TV once, its an aluminum alloy that has a low melting temperature so its easy to repair things


              but if you fill in the old hole, you'll most likely have to re-bore the top body tube so that nothing is sticking inside it to catch the bolt


              you'll have to do that anyways once you get the new neck in place, unless its threaded into the body rather than press-fitted
