'Cause most people don't fully understand the cause and effect of different adjustments. There are certain things that can be done to a Mags trigger to change the way it feels and functions which is the real purpose of any trigger job,but many just don't understand that.

I messed w/ the rod on my old classic mag a while back and the gun had a short trigger but shot like crap and it seems like once you get the rod messed up you can't get it right again no matter what.

The only rod adjustment is the spacing between the rod and the trigger which should be ~1/16".Other than that it really has no effect on anything else.Just make sure that there is as little slack as possible with out the rod putting any pressure on the trigger.Over time, the trigger will wear some and the slack will increase and can be taken out as this happens.

I didnt try to but found it interesting... I used an emag rail with a classic valve and regular frame. What I found was that the difference in sear style made the trigger pull shorter so that it worked fine and short with an intel frame but short stroked with the stock frame. My conclusion was soldering some metal parts on to the back of the trigger to take out slack but also push the rod far enough to work sufficiently. I haven't actually played any games with this particular set up but it seemed to work after firing/testing it for a long period of time.
