In real testing, any hopper that ultimately depends on gravity to feed the ball in the marker, 11.5 to 13 bps is the MAX.

    WARPIG Hopper Test

It's about time some new hoopers were tested to be compared. The HALO should be faster than the others tested as it is force feed.

I must agree with Slarty. Regardless of how fast the agitator goes, it's still gravity fed... there is nothing you can do about it with a revvy except get a force fed loader. in fact, I would think if you sped up the impeller too much, it might start affecting the ability of the balls to go down the neck... it would just cause them to start flying around the hopper when you get to a lower amount of balls in the hopper... did I just make sense?

Your right. Just look at the second table when the hopper is almost empty. They all had trouble getting past 10bps.

It seemed too good to be true I guess. Could the poor results with the 15 bps be due to the effect of blowback? I was unable to read it all.

The test was a computer controlled autococker body/bolt/ram. The balls were not being fired, only kicked out of the breech. So only the loader feed rate was at issue.

interesting... i must make this type of machine and attempt to play paintball with it.

PS- Im dissapointed with performance / size ratios with the pb industry. Id love a hopper like the 12v that fed 19 bps +

But you couldn't play painball with it. All it was doing was cycling the bolt...

Haha, I know. Notice the word "attempt" strategically inserted into the sentence?

Just unscrew the cocking rod from an Autococker and take off the barrel, and you are there.
