Gateway DV-S20
Really bad video quality from the samples I've seen, but I think I've seen it on sale for like $140 (they advertised it as $99, but you had to buy the $40 accessory kit or something to get it at that price). Guess it depends on the video quality that you want. There was a sample video review somewhere on the web...
Supercircuits is actually near me; I've got one of their older B&W cameras and seen the picture quality of other stuff, and it's pretty good IMO. They have some weatherproof camera cylinders that are like, what, 1.5-2" in diameter which probably would be easy to mount. I figure those would be great for this. Then a 2.4ghz transmitter/receiver... Not sure what the price would be though, I'd say $250 minimum, not including actual recording hardware."Accuracy by aiming."
Definitely not on the A-Team.Comment

ok after looking around i noticed that the good cameras are EXTREMELY expensive. so i'm going to drop this idea once again.
Get a friend to video tape you, much cheaper and saferComment

Well hey, just since you're dropping the idea doesn't make it a bad one. Plus this was A-an idea that just popped into my head, and it did make for some good discussion. B-an idea that was DIFFERENT than having someone tape you. You've been thinking about a gun mount, but from the beginning I was more for a mask mount. The title says otherwise but as I wrote the opening paragraph I realized a barrel mount would be a bad idea. Maybe I will try it once I get some extra cash floating around...
