    submini jacks

so I finally found some of those lower profile male submini jacks for the warp and revvy

and as i sit here starring at the little "plate" that im suppose to solder too I wonder who engineered this, "retarded spider monkeys with no arms?"

10 points if you can reference the monkey quote

Ok I tried soldering the darn thing.....that didnt so much work, it looked good, and then the soldered wires just fell right off,

if any one has used one of the mini jacks with the smooth plastic casing do you have any hints?

I think i might just go check and see if radioshack has any of the new ones that have tabs

Do you have a manufacturer or part number for the jacks?

If they're SMT good luck soldering by hand.

The Radio shack jacks suck. To solder the good ones you need to use a heatsink and good solder w/flux. You need to get them HOT!
