My first question would be "why?".

When you can buy a fully custom RT pro for considerable less cost than assembling the individual parts.

Or,you can buy a used Mag which will include 90% of what you need and then you just buy the upgrades you want from there, also at much less of a cost.

But if your intent on spending alot of extra cash, and since you didn't specify what kind of Mag you plan to build.....start here.

    It's a .PDF

considering that from scratch would mean you don't have any parts to begin with, the X-Valve (which includes a Lvl 10) is $325, plus all the other parts. you can buy a nice mag, already built, from AGD's online store for $400 (or more, depending on upgrades), or buy a used one locally or off ebay, then upgrade the components as time and $$ permit....

They're right about a large extra cost. But here's a list in case you really want it:
        X-valve(325)
Body(100-150, depending on ULE or steel)
        Rail(40?)
Trigger frame(Intelli's and Y-grips are 115, stock ones are less)
        Foregrip(25)
        Barrel(Too large a range)
        Field strip screw
        Air hoses, fittings, asa
        Misc. screws
The X-valve comes with all the internals you need. The only screws will be the one that holds the foregrip on, which probably comes with it, the one that holds the trigger frame on, the ASA screws, and the field strip screw. ALl of which but the last one are availible at Home Depot. If you're looking to build the vlave from small parts too then you're out of luck, since you cannot buy just the front of the valve ANYWHERE by itself, and all the aftermarket reg parts are junk anyway. Go with the $400 complete gun.

everyone saying x-valves and r/t, if u just want to build a basic mag, for a backup or just to screw around with....
            classic valve w/ level 10 -$120 used
            body-p/f-$30-50 ULE- not sure
trigger frame screw-ten thirty seconds-89cents for two at a hardware store
            field strip screw- $6 used
that should be about it for your basic back-up/rec mag, email me if u need anyting else, or if u want to get rid of the rail, i have everything else laying around just need a rail to finish my mag, LMK good luck
