I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could put a trigger guard back on a double trigger stock frame that I bought...

If it was anything like the way mine was when I picked it up

you can just bend a small piece of steel and get a longer screw for the grip frame

and then your fingers get all cut up cause its too close

and you can go out and buy a intelliframe

go to the hardware store and get a piece of steel or aluminum. just thick enoughthat you can bend it with tools, but it won't get crushed or bent on it's own too easily. usually 1/16" plate AL or 1/32" steel. get a strip about 3/8" wide and atleast 6" long. your going to drill a hole in one end first so you can use the front screw to secure it to the frame.

while you at the hardware store you might need a bit longer screw.

after you drill the hole in the strip of metal, bend it using two pairs of pliers, or whatever works best.

                threaded rod and a nut

if you use a threaded rod and a nut you can make a very stylish wire type...it's not gonna be wider than the trigger, so watch the tourney rules...basically get a threaded rod that matches your front frame screw, or a hole you've tapped in the frame...twist in the rod...use locktite or the nut to lock it in place and bend it down till it touches your grip...done...if you use standard rod and thread the end yourself it'll look even better...kinda like the Toker by Craig Palmer

Take it to your local welding shop and have them weld one onto the frame. Then file down the weld, sand and buff and your set....
