    ~Speedballer109's Custom Intellfeed hopper~~ Pics:

    Hello,
I can't belive i havn't posted this before...Well let me start off by saying I'm Speedballer109, I made this hopper about 8 months ago. I first had it on my sheridan nemesis, with a vl-200, meaning i put the eletronics into the vl-200. It was cool at the time but i needed it to look better and perform better, (original internals). The parts of the hopper include:

Tower Hobbies R/C/ Standard sized servor (48 oz torque)
    L.E.D.
    Toggle Switch
Intell feed wiring to main switch in the frame.
    4.8 volt 3000 mah battery

All this was custom, all wiring was done by me, i had to customize the servor to completelty spin without stoppnig. So i recently, (6 months) ago bought revvy shells, blue, vortex blade, blue, and put everything from the old hopper into the new shells.

Because i had all the parts, except for shells it onl'y cost me baout 20 bucks.

I'm in the works of putting these internals into eggy shells, and having it work as an eggy, intellfeeded. :)

    Enjoy!

Sorry for not having pics that are right on the screen.

The pics are denied access and your website is fubar as well, get a sensible hosting service, for where you are based I can't give you the links, but I do know from visiting previous websites on the host you are using they don't stay live very long.

It looks like any other Ifeed revy, exept the switch is on the other side. It looks like a good job making it all fit like stock.

Sure it looks like others, but it's performance and durbality sets it apart from others. Stock Revvy's servors suck, The battery life on my hopper will at last revvy's or reloaders by far. I have in my hopper a 4.8 volt 3000 mah battery which will outlast 2-9volt batterys.

But c-mon this is pretty good, plus it's intellfeed. Custom all by me...

Props dude. I have lots of Airplane parts around. I'm interested in how you got the servo to spin instead of just go back and forth.

Like to hear how you mod those servos too :)
Got some just laying around that need to be moded.
What kind of new battery are you using there?
                    4.8v 3000mAh! NiCad,NiMh Or Lithium?

                    Nice job BTW!

Ok this is what you have to do, Not all servors will open up like the Tower hobbies one. Ok so if you know, theres a sensery knob that when turned it will stop the motor. What stop that sensor is one of the gears so what i did was, i took off that gear and drilled out the slot for that sensery knob. It was simple as that, that way the gears can move freely and the servor arm can spin 360 degrees over and over.

Then i just resoldered the black/red wires to the board...It's a NiCad, and it's used for the airplane recievers.

                      And thanks for the comments.

Sorry if it sounds shakey but if you open a servor and take off the gear you will see what i mean

So you hacked the servo so the pot doesn't do anything. People do that all the time for making antweight (1lb fighting robots). Kinda cool how you figured it out on your own! Most hobby servos can take up to 6v, sometimes more than that. I'd try getting a higher voltage pack and see what happens, although the voltage limiter is still on the board, so it might not do much. Also, it's kinda been bugging me, it's servo, not servor. Cool job!

Yeah, there had to be something that was stopping it...The 4.8 vot battery works just fine...Enough power.

BTW- "Servor has always stuck with me, although it's pronouced "servo":)
