    About electronics

I have a MAKO storm frame for a spyder that works fine except the battery plug is broken; if you hold the wires on the board it works. Anyway I can't put the guts in my mag, because it just trips the sear and resets. (spyder)

I was thinking you could just wire up the switch, capacitor, and solenoid in a simple circuit that would keep the solenoid uh, solenoided when ever the trigger was pulled. That way it would work for a mag, but still be short-stroked. Best way would be rig another board up with a long enough delay to work and eliminaye chuffing, but alas my electronical ability is very small.

Someone tell me why that won't work.

You can ude a 555 in monostable mode. Do a goolge search for that and you will come up with several diagrams and explanations of how it works.
      Good Luck!

Sorry i meant use, also if you dont know what a 555 is then you can look at one in Radio Shack. They have them in the electronics parts section around the back. Usually TL555 or something like that.

The 555 is a small 8 legged chip that can provide timing with a few other components.
