    Custom Magnetic trigger

I was looking at a website for solenoids and I saw the electro magnets. I was wondering if anyone has seen or has made a trigger with a small magnet on the tip of the trigger and a very small electro magnet that pulls about 2 pounds. That would take away about 70% of the pull on a classic valve. Any ideas anyone?

would that trip the sear with the magnets repelling each other?

or would it cause the electromagnet to sense the othertrigger magnet close thus moving something?

    Details!?

um it would work somewhat but the gun would be mad easy to shortstroke because of the return time being lengthened by the magnet

so overall bad idea but good try, keep those wheels turning

I had the opposite idea one time..
Basically an electromagnet giving you reactivity.. triggered by something like the intellifeed switch in the intelliframe.. basically a magnet in a trigger and an electro magnet (is there such thing as like a reverse polarity electro magnet that sends things away instead of pulls them?) in the frame..
That would be nice for ULT classics and hell, even ULT retros.. I dunno though.
I've kept it to myself for a while, but now I'm pretty sure I'll never try it, so whatever.

I have used the magnetic trigger mod on my impulse, it works very well and only cost about $2.00. I bought the magnets @radio shack they are called rare earth magnets, u get 2 in a pack they are like $1.79 or $2.10 something like that. very small but very powerful. This mod works best with electros using a microswitch. I am currently working out the idea of going with the reactive magnetic return idea rather than having the magnets retract from each other. I just picked up a ule body and x valve. My buddy is "altering" his stock 45 cocker frame to fit the sear pin for the mag. The screw holes line right up. I have my ule trigger kit from my old 68 valve. Maybe with the ule kit and magnets I can get this mag shooting like an electro!!!! no more buying 9 volts!!
3.2 e mag ULE body and rail. Oh yeah I gots the X inside!!!
