AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Just wondering if the older Impulse (in my case, an older Turbo)feed necks were threaded or just a solid part of the body. My chimney, as I call it is far too high.
Unless you have a pre-production Impulse (serial below circca 1500) you have a threaded feed tube.
However, even if you didn't have threads, you could still install an aftermarket feed tube on there using metal-to-metal epoxy. Yeah it be a lot more permanent but it is still very possible, and very easy. (if you were to do this though, only put epoxy on the new feed tube, not on the body).
