    Mag on 12gram, advice needed

So I'm considering my next project and I need to know what mag reg will work on co2 and which one will work on 12 grams (750psi max).

I read that L10's need 750 minimum, no good.

I'm not doing a sidekick, but basically need the same operating system. I don't care if I can only get 15 shots from one 12g, that's good enough.

    Check this out. http://www.rustyspaintballgear.com/c....asp?ID_Wep=30
I decided to do a countersniper rifle (to match my bolt action rifle), before I even saw these pics. I was considering a auto-phantom, but the mag seems to be a good choice as long as I can run it on a 12g.

    Your thoughts?

Yes, any classic mag valve will run on CO2, but as you said, I wouldn't expect to get many shots off of a 12 gram because the input pressure to the valve is fairly high. I will defer to anyone who has actually tested it, but I doubt that the lvl10 requires that high of an input. However, you might also try an old 4 or 7 oz tank, which are only like 2" wide and might be able to be mostly concealed in the stock.

My pump mag with classic valve gets about 10-11 good shots off a 12g.
      No lvl 10 though.

Thanks for the input. I have a 3.5oz tank and an old 7oz and may end up going that route. If I use the tank in the buttstock, it will stick out the sides but that's ok. I'll keep the back end of the tank flush with the buttstock and use the portion of the tank that sticks out the sides to screw it on and off.

I think with a small tank it will more versitile than changing 12g ever 10 shots.

Anyone know the minimum inlet pressure for the Lvl10 regs? I've read 450, but I don't know if that's right. If that's the case, I could probably get more shots off a 12g than with a standard (classic) reg.

There is no difference between the regs on lvl7 and lvl10. The only difference is the bolt. The lvl10 bolt does need a higher pressure to operate, so you will probably not be able to shoot as many balls with lvl10.

you could also consider a 13ci hpa tank, I run one on my pump mag and it gets around 150 good shots.
If you run it with a back bottle adapter it positions it really good.
regarding the 12 gram, I also only get 11 good shots
