    Bullpup mag conversion

Hello all. I had created an interesting design for a paintball marker and produced it last year. After playing with it for one day of paintball someone was interested in the gun and it was sold off. Unfortunatly I did not take any pictures and I have been itching to make a newer, better, and cooler looking one.

Why Im I telliung ao this and not just posting up pictures of my COMPLETED project? I need your help. I need a person who could do some very basic tig welding for a body and rail.

    PICS
Mock-up mag to give you an idea.

pics are now up. For those of you who don't know how this works here is the design.

Pretty much the sear is extended enabling the trigger frame to be moved up. Previously I had used a mag trigger and bored out a hole in the back of the frame all the way through into the sear assy. area. A long rod went from there to the hacked frame. I made a divot in the double trigger to hold the rod. I am now changing my design to use a cocker slide trigger and most likely run the rod along the gun and possibly internally. And anyway I have a lot of cocker entrails lying around I decided to NOT attach the rod directly to the sear seeing potential problems in the future.

P.S.- I still need a tig/mig welder to do this right!

I've been tossing a similar idea around for a while. I've always liked the bullpup concept: Gives you a short profile while letting you have your arm extended farther and more ergonomically.

I had always envisioned an electronic conversion, however... I think it would be easier. All you'd have to line up would be the solenoid. You can put the trigger (switch) anywhere.

I'll sketch out my idea tomorrow... For now, I gotta sleep (get up at 3:45 am)

Yep, that was gonna be my next step after I make a couple mech's.
I still hate those darn hyperframes though ;0

Thats like... Almost exactly what I was talking about... (Mine would have been more aesthetically pleasing, mind you )
But yeah. Just drop a solenoid into the the rail beneath the sear, wire it to a switch in the gripframe upfront. You wouldnt even have to use a hyperframe.

Great thing about that design, is you hold it the same way, but the barrel doesnt protude past you trigger hand.

Then put a warp feed behind the trigger frame, under the main body and there you go. I'd also go for a smaller tank.

I'd put the tank directly behind the grip frame. Like inside the stock...
That way, its not taking up any more space than what the marker setup already does.

I'd put the tank where it is in my drawing.

                    How would you aim?

With just a duckbill, the rear of the valve is already pretty close to the mask. Wouldn't you have problems with your mask banging into stuff if you tried sighting down the barrel?

                      Hey:

Nato- I might be able to help you out with this project. I built a BullPup Conversion for a mag more than once before. I dont need no stinked batteries neither.

                      You got my aim.

Want a gun? I probably have what you want or I can build it for you. Just name it, everything is possible.

looks like you drew some that sorta looked like p90s.

i think it would be possible to make a stock class p90, that would be pretty dam cool.
fff1555> how much do you think would be a good price for a 03 shocker with vision used
                        Thordic> $3.50

dudedude- when your arm is completely extended it is a different feel. I am also going to be getting an "old school" tank that is longer/thinner.

ClassicMagger- good! hope to talk to you soon!

xsiled- That was how I became inspired in the first place. I was planning on doing a P-90 conversion but I am unable to get a real reviever. The closest thing is an airsoft body and Im not so sure about that.
