    Cocker Troubles

Hi everyone. I'm having some really complicated troubles with my cocker, and I'd be greatfull if someone would help me out. please only reply if u have experience w/ cockers, or know what u r talking about. thanks.

    Here's my setup:
~2k2 WGP VF Green Cocker ~Black E-Blade Frame w/Platinum Solonoid ~16" Dye Boomy ~Chrome WGP BM Reg. ~Chrome Belsales Evo. .44 Ram ~Black Dye Beaver Tail ~Black BM Cocking Rod ~Q.E.V.'s ~Eclipse Fangz Detent ~Nickle Orracle Ticler LPR ~Orracle bolt ~Silver NW Spoon Drop with Skeletor On/Off~

    I have 2 problems:
~First, my solonoid valve still leaks. It's from under the manifold, and I've got my pressure as low as it will go and still move the back block, but it keeps leaking. Also, I've tried cleaning it, but it didn't work. I'm gonna take it apart and examine it again.

~Second problem is that it will not recock. If I pull the cocking rod, it will catch, but then when it is released, it just hits the valve and nothing happens (no air comes out of the bolt). Then it doesn't reset. I know the velocity is at exactly 275 and it had worked before like this. I'm not sure about this one. I may have not my On/Off fully screwed in so there might not have been enogugh air going through the valve.
It's not slow you idiot... it's.... umm... Paint Efficent!

    ~Left Feed 68 Classic Mag ~ReTro Valve ~Level 10 Bolt ~Intelliframe ~12in. Teardrop ~D.O.P. Drop On/Off ~Dye Stickey 3 Grip~

had same problem with my solinoid the gasket seal is broken.
when you take the soliniod out of the housing you will see a black seal check it for a break or scratch. you can find the at ebay or at planeteclipse.com

you're second problem is you probably have the the gun pressure to low. turn it up till it starts shooting.

    thats my two cents

      got your fix

all you problems could be caused by the pressure being to low it should be 350 psi yes i said 350 psi!!!! low presure is NOT a good thing for cockers also check all seals and the hammer lug (timming) if you need more help e-mail me at [email protected]

if you run 300 or more psi into a 5way noid you need to be shot...never use that much pressure or your sure to blow it. Get a new gasket and lube it up..stop the leak. make sure the lug is far enough down for the sear to catch on problem 2

Also check the trigger frame mounting bolts. Make sure the one in the rear is the short one. My friend had mixed his up and the hammer was slamming against the bolt because it was protruding into the body.

350psi operating pressure is right on btw.

Too low of op. pressure will not cause the gun to not fire (valve not open). With the cocker air'd up, try to push in on the cocking rod, if the pressure is too low you will be able to open the valve (this would test the "bottle not screwed in properly theory). Try removing the trigger frame (or loosening it enough for the sear not to catch) and pull the cocking rod to the rear and release. It should sound like it just fired. This should narrow down where the problem is.

Check those and keep us posted.

Hoss, you need to learn what you are talking about. You should never run over 100 psi into the 5-way noids. You can read that in the instruction manual for that one. You can run 350 into the gun as long as you drop it down to 100ish at your lpr. Personally mine runs about 275(mech) and my brothers at 250 (e-blade). Degas your gun and drop you inline and LPR so that no pressure can get through. Turn up your inline till your gauge reads 275-350. With the E-blade on turn up the LPR presure till the gun cocks its self. Also you might have sear lug and cocking rod issues but try this first. Also check to see if your battery needs replaced.
