Since the reg is rated for 3000psi, why couldn't one just gut the tank reg? With the ult, runaway might not be a problem.

And as the tank got lower in pressure of the inside, the reactivity would get lower.
Just stick with the reg's

The valve can take 3000 but it does leak a little above 1200 or so. It leaks out the relief holes. We tried it with 2 different guns hooking them directly to a scuba tank. I don't recommend doing it for anything other than test firing.
