    A few Miscellaneous questions

    Hey guys,

I've had a few questions lingering around my head for a few days, and I'm wondering if you guys can help me out =)

    (1) Could a Spyder be set up to use an LPR instead of just an LPC? Would there be any performance benefits?
    (2) Could you put an Angel Space Frame on a BKO? What about an Impulse?
    (3) Can BKOs be set up to use an LPR?
    (4) Are Bushmasters and Impulses identical in operation? How close?

    Thanks guys,

    Jacob

Well, let me see if I can shed (at least a little) light on your questions.

1: I don't see why you couldn't mount a LPR onto a Spyder, but what do you hope the LPR will accomplish?

2: I've seen people with Angel LCD frames on BM2Ks, so I don't see why a Space Frame can't be done with a BKO (BM2K and BKO frames have the same spacing). It will take some minor modification and the Space frame will need a board adapter in order to mount the BKOs board (on Angel markers, the trigger switch is on the board itself).

3: Yes they can. I've got a BKO with a Zenitram front block, which allows you to mount a Micro-Rock LPR on there (it also allows enough room for me to fit a vert Max-Flo reg there).

4: They are pretty much the same, operationwise (ram driven hammer, with the bolt tied to the hammer by a vertical pin). The difference is, the BM2K has a LPR stock, whereas on the Imp, it's an add-on. The Angel and Timmy also use the ram driven hammer concept.
There are three kinds of people in the world: Those who can count, and those who can't.

    With understanding comes understanding.

If the saying is true that we are what we eat, aren't we all just cannibals?

      Thank you Timmee =)

You've helped me out. Oh, and I"m not sure about the LPR on the spyder...I don't really understand much about LPRs, but my friend uses one on his Impulse to adjust the velocity to extremely accurate settings.... so I wondered if Spyders could use them.

You can't use one on spyders, bolt pressure is measured by the tension of the spring in the gun, on imps like your friends the lpr controls the amount of air going to the noid, and that air is used to move the bolt, and select the force at which the hammer hits the valve i.e. controlling velocity, so your answer is no, a lpr cant be used on a spyder
