The Ricvey Hopper is released!

My newest creation. Revvy shells, evolution 2 paddles, revvy motor, ricochet 2k board and electrical components. I would take some internals pics but It would require me to remove all that tape, maybe I'll do it later. Basically, I had an extra revvy motor so I soldered the rico motor wires to that, then I ran the little sensor through the revvy motor casing, and then cut out a hole in the side of the casing to have enough room for the sensor. Works great, feeds about the same as my revvy, just more consistent. Love the lcd screen too. Total cost= 12 for revvy, 8 for the rico with broken shells.

I was also thinking this the other day. I have a extra Xboard Revy lying around... as well as a used Egg II i just picked up... would be an interesting venture, to put the Eggo internals into a Revy, or Apache shell even.... something so it would feed 18-23, but the internals would be in another shell of sorts..

I actually have an eggy board and a spare motor set, it wouldnt work, unless you drilled holes in the revvy. Eggy eyes are attached to the board.

I'm sure you know that paint will harm the electronics. I bet you are going to put a whole bunch more tape on there

The electrical tape feel off, so i just slapped some carpet tape over the electrical, this thing isn't going anywhere What do you mean about paint harming the electronics?

Well, if the board takes a direct hit, theres a small chance it might get damaged, and you probably dont want to get paint on the electronics either.. the LCD screen should be fine

Yeah, I figured that there isnt much of a chance of getting a hit on the lcd, or even the back of the electronics, a side shot is a possiblity knocking off the electronics, I'm not too worried though.

u should try to cut the shell so that u can mount the screen in the side of it or sumthin, that would look cool
