    Mag pressure specs!

I tossed this up in the tech forum, but got nothing.

Anyone know how much force a mags bolt/spring hits the washer inside the body with? I'm specifically looking for how many footpounds.

Also if you know this, please state whether it was with a level 7 or 10 bolt.

I have no idea to answer your question. I do know my brothers and my RT's eat the bumpers in a short time. I saw a disabled guy on the news that invented a soft rubber like compound for like caines/crutches that was VERY durable, flexible and it doesn't bounce. Thus illiminating the shock on ones joints or the bolt (in theory) if this stuff were used for the bumpers.

not talking about the bumper. the washer inside the body, just before the breech area.

thought about compressing the bolt spring against a scale? that might get you pretty close.

I think he means when it fires, not just the spring.
