Can anyone tell me how to do the Evo II battery mod, so the doors stop breaking?? Thanks.

try duct tape, the best and fastest way i've found.

You can also replace the evo2 battery posts with battery snaps from RadiShack. That puts less presure on the door and minimizes braking.

I've replaced the battery posts with snaps and now the "low Battery" light stays on constantly. I put brand new Energizer batteries into it and the light is still on. Any ideas????

maybe wire it the RIGHT way?


the only thing you hafta do is take your trusty Dremel tool, and trim down those 2 "crosses" on the inside of the battery door, to like HALF of their original height... then, if your batteries aren't pushed against the contacts hard enough, fold a business card or sumthin similar in half, and tuck it between the batteries and the door. BOOM, you're done.

i have an egg and my door had yet to break but my lid broke and feed neck

I guess its a matter of luck weather you get a defective or made completely door.
