02 Shoebox- can it be improved?

Hey guys, I have a 2002 Shocker, among too many other markers. I actually like the thing. Milling and anno job look top quality and reallly it's not that large or heavy, I had heard lots of bad things to this effect prior to acutally get one. Anyway, It's not very quick on the trigger. By old school standards I guess it was okay, but capped at 11.8 or something near that its doesn't hold a candle to what I can get out of my bushy and even my 2000 cocker will give it a run for the money. Can this be improved short of replacing the board, The glacier board is like $150 and for that I might as well just start over. Any help here. And yea, I know I should just get rid of it, so don't bother saying that.

the biggest problem that stops an old school shocker form cycling more than 13-14 BPS is the dump chamber itself it seems that it cannot fill fast enough. this is either due to it's size/pressure or that the filling assembly needs to be changed, the EVIL Part changes both of these things but, I am not sure if it is for the better or if it is for the worse. I know that it reduces the volume in the chamber. to increase it you'd have to make a volumizer that came out of the middle of your bottom tube on your gun. but these things wouldn't do you much good without a new board to take advantage of them. so really as long as you are not replacing the board there is nothing really worth while to do to them, and you saiid you didn't want to replace it. I have 2 old school shockers and I think they are both compeditve guns, one is an eclipse the other is a 4x4 my best advice is stay away from the OTB frame and get a blade trigger, I love the angel space frame but the OTB frame is very poorly made.

        sdlm,

What are these evil parts you mentioned and are they still on the market? I have a '97 PVI that I'm Morlocking and would like to see what the deal is on these evil parts you mentioned are.

        Thanks!

                Hey Fragtek

Let me know how morlock board project for shocker goes, I was thinking of that myself. Really like my shocker but want it faster.

How fast will it cycle properly? Did you replace any other internal?

10bps is the max ROF I can achieve. No other internal modifications were made.
