DM4, machined or cast?

This might sound stupid but does anyone know for certain whether the dm4 was machined or could some of it have been cast, like tippmans for instance. I wonder this because some of the curves make it look like it would be impossible to just clamp it to machine it. Part of this stems from the fact that I havn't really studdied one for any length of time yet.

Right there it says it was cut and carved..
