    Input on homemade electroframe

It's winter, can't play paintball, I have a lot of time on my hands and I have a Impulse-board. Long story short, I want to make an electro frame for my mag.

I have a logic vert frame, and discovered that the imp-board will actually fit with some work. Here's my plan: Get an impulse soleonid, a cocker LPR and some sort of ram. The lpr would be installed on my vert asa, the ram would control the sear, I haven't really decided where to put the soleonid.

    My questions are:
Any tips? Anything that wouldn't work?
What kind of ram should I use, and where can I get it? It has to be rather small. I have ULT so it shouldn't have to be very strong.

    Thanks

check out the thread on electritions trigger sounds the same:

    trigger

3 way soleniod to push actuator. powered by morlock board. micro rock reg

micro rocks are neccasary to stand up to the high pressure of mags.

if you dont understand go to noahkool.com trigger anim i made

yeah i have a lot of free time

Thanks. Found the thread allready, and it answers most of my questions. Actually, I think I'm gonna make a ripoff, since I found that the Imp-board is fried, and the predator-morlock looks really nice =). It would be like having my homemade devil-mag

BTW, shouldn't it be possible to use a stock cocker lpr, at least an older, since they were capable of using unregulated co2?

yes, you can. they are the only other lpr that I've had luck with, besides the best option, the palmer.

problem is, they are a pain to adjust. I used originally, just till I recieved the palmer. then I went to the palmer micro rock.

you cannot use any lpr that uses a shraeder valve (bicycle tube valve) like the KAPP rhino. the WGP tickler is just a little piece of junk in my opinion, it can't regulate properly at all.
the ANS jackhammer might work, but I haven't actually tested them

you're not actually planning on using co2 in this gun are you? those small solenoid valves are for air only.

Of course not...I have an RT.

But I think I have changed my plan again. I'm going the easy route and use a soleonid (possibly a hyperframe noid if I can get one) to push the sear. I read about the morlock, and it should be able to power it without any problems. It should make it a lot easier to build and cheaper as well.

So, anyone know where to get a hyperframe noid? A used noid is acceptable as well.

Found a place to order a hyperframe noid...I'll be getting into business. Can't wait until I receive everything and start working on it. Hopefully I'll be able to post pics along the way.

Which 'noid does the hyper use anyway? As in, if you go to www.solenoidcity.com, which part would it be?

don't froget to get a giant capacitor to go with that. you're gonna need it. otherwise, it won't work, especially not with a 9 volt.

I wouldn't know. I just ordered the hyperframe soleonid.
