I had an idea, not a good idea but an idea, it would be cool to have an artifical back block that moves back and forth like on a cocker every time you shoot, only it wouldn,t do annything for the gun, just be another thing to add to your automag. what does everyone think ?

mag look idea
"Ah yes, I have one of the 32*rebels that I always take to big scenario games. It keeps the truck from rolling if I have to park on a hill." - automikeyTags: None -
you gotta give it more than an hour for someone to reply. especially in a less popular part of the forums.
as for the idea, it would be pointless, in the way, and add weight to the gun. it wouldnt even do anything for the look IMO. the less moving parts the better. mags were made to have very few moving parts. stick with a cocker if you like a back block.

Would I push her off my lap if at an event she just sat down... it wouldn't be with my hands, I'll tell you that much.

Dude I had this EXACT idea one time while waiting in line for a roller coaster. I think it would be cool to have like the back half of a dummy reg move around.

Heh, there would be no way to execute it unless you actually bought a ram, lpr, and 4 way for the sole purpose of making a back block move. You couldn't even cut a hole in the body and link it to the bolt, because A. the spring is in the way, and B. it would move the opposite directions of that of a backblock (since the automag is blow forward.)
I'm sure you could glue a backblock onto a mag, but have fun trying to make it move in sync with the gun's shots.

Dude all you'd need is an extended sluggo, then add a ram and a 3 way. You don't have to have it in sync with the guns shots, if it messes up whoopdie doo. It would just look funny. I don't think it wise to spend a ton of money on it, but if you happened to end up with some spare time and some extra cocker parts I think it would be funny. Plus if you did a cockermag conversion it would look REAL funny.

You would need an HPR and an LPR as well.
What the point of it if it isnt in sync with the guns shots? It would be gay and not funny.
You would also need to come up with a mounting system for the LPR, 3 way, and ram.
All of that combined could cost over $100
If you want to do it, go ahead

oops forgot the LPR. HPR? You mean to cut up? or what? Remember I'm not suggesting that you go out and buy all this stuff for a cocker new and all. I'm saying that if you happened to have a bunch of extra crap laying around (for example. I just recently bought 14 tiny pneumatic cylinders on Ebay). I also have an extra cocker front block assembly and no cocker. So for example I could do this for just the cost of a few nuts and bolts, and some kind of pipe or something to put over the main valve. There. That's like 10 bucks. Of course I already had the stuff. Remember- I don't think paying tons of money would be in any way intelligent. You gotta remember that the only purpose of pneumatic cylinders isn't cockers... Crappier stuff is cheaper. And I'm not saying have the thing cycle at like one time per 10 shots or something, just put the three way next to the trigger and if it "short strokes" then it wont sync up and that wont matter. For the average person, yes its dumb. But I happen to really enjoy doing that sort of thing. Plus I have a mill and a lathe and all that crap, so the cost for someone like me would be almost zero. So I guess for the average joe it's stupid, but for me I enjoy a challenge. So whatever.

hey bertmcmahan, i think that would be awesome to do i don't have the stuff or tools, i would really like to see that work"Ah yes, I have one of the 32*rebels that I always take to big scenario games. It keeps the truck from rolling if I have to park on a hill." - automikeyComment

I have a couple more challenges to work on at the moment that are slightly more significant than a fake back block, but if I get around to it I'll post
